Glucose Tolerance tests and Lipid Profile tests (cholesterol and triglyceride) require that you fast for 12 hours prior to having your blood tested.

Please drink plenty of water while you fast and continue to take any medications your doctor has prescribed. Many fasting clients prefer to
come to The Villages Clinical Laboratory mid-morning for their tests.
